About the Role

Are you an accounting professional who thrives in a fast-paced, hands-on environment? Do you enjoy digging into the details while seeing how your work directly impacts real, tangible projects? As a Staff Accountant, you’ll play a key role in managing the financial health of our properties and development projects while working closely with property and project managers.


Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations for assigned properties

• Support and research information requests from property and project managers

• Review and approve invoices for processing by accounts payable

• Complete month-end and quarter-end close processes

• Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reporting and schedules

• Record monthly journal entries

• Review and maintain account reconciliations

• Prepare quarterly workpapers for consolidations

• Participate in preparation of workpapers and schedules for annual audit/review and tax returns

• Generate monthly utility billings for multifamily properties using a ratio utility billing system

• Review commercial leases and assist in commercial lease activations

• Prepare construction management fees

• Prepare monthly loan draws and quarterly/annual lender financials

• Assist/prepare fixed asset reports, capital expenditure summaries, and construction draw requests

• Assist with annual budgets and forecasting

• Participate in lease rent roll audits

• Perform additional accounting and reporting duties as needed


Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, with advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Excel

• Knowledge of Yardi and AvidXchange is a plus

About the Role

The Software Operations Specialist provides front-line technical support to end users and works closely with software vendors to troubleshoot and resolve system issues. This role supports daily operations and helps ensure users have the tools and access they need to be successful.

Key Responsibilities

• Respond promptly and professionally to tenant work orders and service requests

• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and building automation systems

• Respond immediately to emergency situations (fire, evacuation, equipment failure, etc.) and customer concerns

• Participate in after-hours, on-call rotation and work overtime as needed

• Perform other duties as assigned to support building operations


Qualifications

• Mechanically inclined with 1+ year of maintenance experience

• High school diploma or GED required

• HVAC experience is a plus

• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle required

• Strong customer service and communication skills

• Self-motivated and able to work independently

• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills

• Maintains a professional appearance and represents the company with professionalism and courtesy

Your Next Role

As a Landscaping Coordinator, you’ll play a key role in keeping our properties vibrant, well-maintained, and beautifully presented. We’re looking for a strong leader who enjoys coaching and developing teams, has solid business acumen, and is comfortable using technology to manage schedules, track progress, and organize field operations. You’ll also help solicit, review, and present bids, support contract management, and drive operational efficiency.  What You’ll Do


Lead & Support Field Teams

  • Provide daily leadership to landscaping Leads and Specialists
  • Coach, mentor, and support field team members to ensure quality performance
  • Offer direction and problem-solving support in real time
  • Communicate field updates, challenges, and progress to the Director of Property Services
  • Support staffing, scheduling, and seasonal work planning
  • Purchase materials and supplies with approval from the Director of Property Services


Drive Operational Excellence

  • Manage daily, weekly, and seasonal landscaping schedules

  • Troubleshoot landscaping and irrigation issues
  • Oversee core services such as planting, mowing, weeding, pruning, mulching, and irrigation repairs
  • Use technology to track work, maintain documentation, and support efficient planning


Business, Budgeting & Bids

  • Track materials and equipment needs and submit purchase requests
  • Assist with budgeting for materials, contractors, and equipment maintenance
  • Solicit bids, review proposals, and help prepare bid comparisons
  • Present recommendations and support contract execution
  • Provide input on plant selection, seasonal rotations, and long-term landscape planning


Connect & Communicate

  • Serve as the liaison between field teams and the Director of Property Services
  • Coordinate with property management teams to minimize disruptions
  • Provide daily and weekly updates on schedules and progress
  • Communicate weather impacts and operational adjustments


What You Bring

  • Five or more years of landscaping, grounds management, or related experience (preferred)
  • Strong leadership qualities and the ability to teach, coach, and motivate others
  • Solid business acumen and comfort working with budgets, bids, and contracts
  • Comfort using technology, including Microsoft Office and scheduling or project management tools

Groundskeeper - Nashville

Full Time in Nashville, TN

The Grove is owned and managed by NTS Capital and we are well known for our meticulous care in our grounds and landscaping. One of The Grove’s biggest selling points is our reputation for having the best service team in Nashville! Right now we are looking for a service-minded professional with a friendly, customer service attitude willing to roll up their sleeves and go to work! 

Make no mistake about it. A Groundskeeper is a maintenance position. The Groundskeeper acts under the direction of the Community and Service Manager and is responsible for the cleanliness of the community grounds. Responsibilities will include the daily upkeep of the property, buildings, and grounds, which includes cleaning and removing trash. Additional responsibilities include: 


• Detail cleaning breezeways including handrails, light fixtures and electrical closets
• Pulling weeds and removing leaves, debris and trash throughout community
• Cleaning and maintaining pet waste stations 
• Running the community compactor and keeping the dumpster area clean
• During winter months, spreading salt on public passageways to prevent ice buildup. 

The ideal candidate must be able to address the concerns and maintenance needs of our residents in a friendly and professional manner. A Groundskeeper must have good organizational abilities, follow-up skills, and attention to detail both in their work and when communicating with our residents. 

Are you the right person for the Job? The ideal Groundskeeper may not necessarily have previous apartment experience. However, the right candidate should have some general grounds or custodial maintenance experience and be comfortable working in a team-oriented atmosphere. 

JOB REQUIREMENTS include a high school diploma or equivalent, valid driver’s license, dependable transportation, and ability to work Saturdays. The ideal candidate needs schedule flexibility to accommodate a 6-day workweek every other week.
